The game plot tells about the leak of a dangerous virus that turns people into carnivorous zombies. The uninfected part of humanity is sent to the bunker, but the four heroes do not have time to evacuate. To escape, they need to find a suitable vehicle while fighting off the Infected, who strive to attack from behind every corner. The player will control the entire team at the same time, using the special abilities of the heroes and advancing them along the path of salvation.
The gameplay includes 14 campaigns, which represent the link between the original adventures and additional quests. Each episode presents its own requirements for passing, and variable locations and dangerous monsters only complicate the process of moving. The player must overcome various obstacles, swim across swamps, drive a car and destroy zombies.
To defeat the enemies, the heroes have to master some fighting skills. In total, there are more than a dozen weapons available in the game, including a frying pan, a shovel, and a golf club, which can be used in close combat. Also in the arsenal of heroes there are firearms, partially transferred from the first part. Depending on the type of gun, the hero inflicts various damage on enemies. To replenish strength, you can use medicines and first aid kit.
Multiplayer mode
The game mode is multiplayer, but the campaign can be played alone. In the absence of partners in the game, the missing heroes are replaced by artificial intelligence. Left 4 Dead 2 presents a special system of interaction between a bot player and a human player with the ability to replace one with the other at any time during the passage. Also, users can adjust the difficulty of the levels by selecting one of 4 items, and a convenient voice chat allows you to quickly contact the cooperation.
Analogues for Android
Thoughtful action game Left 4 Dead 2 is currently only available on computers. As a replacement, mobile gamers can try a similar app: Dead Trigger 2.
