The main character wakes up in a mysterious hotel filled with many puzzles. The initial study of the location leads the character to a woman named Bierce – she reports that the hotel is located in the other world. To get out of the trap, the hero needs to collect the Soul Shards scattered throughout the territory. However, finding them is quite difficult, because the artifacts are hidden in labyrinths guarded by dangerous monsters.
With the help of the player, the main character will explore the hotel, move around the rooms and fight enemies. At the same time, there are almost no weapons in the game: the user can only stun monsters and run away from them. As you progress through the hero will also be able to increase the scale of health, becoming more resilient and sustainable. To do this, he will need various resources that can be found in the labyrinths.
However, the monsters evolve after the player – with each new level they become smarter and faster. Dodging them, the hero should not forget about other traps and traps that are scattered around the hotel and are also capable of causing considerable damage. For ease of movement, a mini-map has been added to Dark Deception, which displays the location of the player, his targets and opponents.
Universe
The entire gameplay is divided into several episodes. At the moment, Dark Deception Chapters 1-4 are available for passing, and the release of the fifth chapter is only expected. In the first and subsequent parts of the story, new monsters will appear in the game, including Mannequins, Observers, Nurses (Nurse) and Clowns. Each type of enemy has its own special skills that pose a great threat to the player.
The plot of the game leads to the fact that the main character will meet with the leader of all monsters – the demon Malak. However, to get to it, the user will have to overcome all sorts of labyrinths and obstacles. For greater immersion, the adventure is created in a first-person format, and is also full of mystical locations and frightening sounds. The Dark Deception interface has been translated into Russian.
