Just like in the original horror, the main character becomes a night guard in a pizzeria. The work does not bode well, but on the very first night the hero will encounter evil animatronics – mechanical puppets who want to kill him.
To escape from the formidable robots, he needs to correctly think over a survival strategy, avoid meetings with dolls and not let them into the office. If the player ends up in the same room with the animatronics, then inevitable death awaits him.
The main action in the CNaF add-on takes place in the same Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza, but the player gets access to moving around the location. He can move from room to room to find traces of the animatronics. However, the developers did not remove the usual interaction with the cameras and the map – the hero can open the layout of the room and see where the dolls are. The map also displays an icon of the player himself and his location.
The passage is complicated by the presence of an expendable resource – electricity. In KNaF, just like in the original game, the doors and the monitor will require energy to keep the doors and monitor running smoothly. In this case, the monitor can only be turned on in the office. If the electricity runs out, the player will be automatically attacked by the robotic toys.
New animatronics
Horror has become more frightening due to some processing of the usual animatronics. Here the player will meet mechanical dolls from FNAF 1 – Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy, however, secret characters were also added in addition. They can be unlocked as you progress and can also be seen in some cut scenes. Some dolls are capable of killing, while others only interfere with the flashlight or cameras. Just like the main character, animatronics are able to walk around the location, chasing the player.
Mechanical puppets in KNAF began to perform unexpected actions. They can kick doors, accelerate and run, watch the hero. You can fight them with a flashlight, and certain actions will lead to the discovery of additional features – for example, an energy generator in the kitchen. The flashlight can blind Foxy once.
Game Modes
CNaF has several game modes. The player can play through the main story mode, which is very similar to the canon one. In your night, which opens as an additional chapter, you can adjust the duration and speed of the movement of the hero, and increase the intelligence of mechanical puppets to 50 points.
However, the add-on also received new gameplay – for example, you can switch to the game mode for animatronics. Here the player will control Freddy the bear, who must track down his target, composing a phrase from letters.
Android version
Addition Creepy Nights at Freddy’s is one of the few games from the FNAF series, which received a translation into Russian. Horror fans can download the mobile version to their phone and enjoy the universe at any time.
