The protagonist regains consciousness in a laboratory where unusual creatures are kept that pose a particular danger. Each animal can turn a person into a furry, giving him animal features and depriving him of his mind. The hero will have to avoid the attack and find a way out of the room in order to escape. The player’s only assistant – a reasonable Purro – will guide him and give hints.
The hero lives in a two-dimensional world and can move around different rooms. However, he does not have any weapons, so it is better for the player to avoid encounters with enemies. Many animals have constant patterns of behavior, which allows you to build a competent survival strategy. Also, the hero cannot carry items with him, which is why interactions with the world are limited.
The whole gameplay consists of several elements. First of all, the player gets access to dialogues that will shed light on the main course of the plot. Also, the hero has the ability to drag some objects, solve puzzles or overcome obstacle courses. In this case, the player can choose one of three difficulty levels, which makes it easier or more difficult to play the game.
Diversity in Changed brings variability of endings, but most of them are considered negative. The ending of the story directly depends on the player’s actions, as well as on the selected difficulty level. You can also complete the walkthrough with the updated version of Changed Special, where new monsters, locations and episodes appear, some bugs are fixed and the graphics change. Both applications are fully translated into Russian.

There is currently no mobile version of Changed. As a replacement, users can try a similar Undertale game.
