The basis of the gameplay in Blood Box is a testing ground, within which the user does whatever he wants. Having settled “inhabitants” in the sandbox – for example, bloodthirsty zombies – the player can pick up a machine gun and test it in real combat conditions. At the same time, the simulator allows you to create an unlimited number of combinations of items and equipment, as well as save your favorite assemblies.
Gameplay Overview
Upon first launch, the player is greeted with a start screen where you can select one of the available game modes. There are three of them: sandbox, trials and missions. The content of the modes changes periodically, as the developers actively release new updates. However, it is the sandbox that attracts the greatest interest of users, where the player reproduces the gameplay almost from scratch.
Sandbox Mode Features
In sandbox mode, four maps are standard open. The number of buildings and objects pre-installed on it depends on the choice of location. If the player wants to start from absolute zero, then he can choose a polygon. On the map, you need to place any objects from the catalog, using them to build structures. Later, they can be tested for strength by shooting at walls with machine guns or crashing into them with a car.
In general, the gameplay is focused on exploring the world and its possibilities. By periodically adding new items to the map, the player can change the course of the gameplay, giving it variety. So, dangerous zombies and skeletons can move within the location, which sometimes attack the hero. To defend against monsters, the player must use a weapon – or simply remove particularly aggressive creatures from the map.
Simulator Benefits
Blud Box differs from all similar applications in its rich functionality. First, the user must explore the locations by moving the main character using the touch engine. Secondly, the player needs to add items – for this there is a separate menu button, where the objects are grouped into sections. Thirdly, the simulator allows you to record scenes using the built-in screen recording tool and then save the video to the device’s memory.
No less attractive is the mechanics of movement itself. The developers have tried to make the entire gameplay naturalistic – for this reason, explosions, shots, falls and hits look extremely convincing. In addition, all objects are destructible, which adds additional realism to the game.
Game development
A distinctive feature of BloodBox can also be considered the frequency of releases of updates. Almost every week a new update comes out, which brings original heroes, vehicles or weapons to the sandbox. By combining old maps with new objects, the player can create truly breathtaking scenes. In addition, with each update, the developers improve the graphics and controls in all game modes.
